Early Day Motion attacks US ban on editing Cuban articles as absurd
March 22: Ian Gibson MP, Chair of the All Party Cuba Group of Westminster MPs,has tabled an Early day Motion in support of Cuban Science.

That this House decries the absurd attack by the US in banning the publication of articles by Cuban authors in US scientific journals; notes that Cuba has been under a trade embargo since 1960 and yet Cuban science in its application in medicine and agriculture is acknowledged to be world class; and believes that this was clearly demonstrated at a recent conference in Parliament hosted by the All Party Group on Cuba and at the Wellcome Trust.
