This seminar has become urgent in recent weeks with the increasing US militarisation of the region and the heightened propaganda attacks against Cuba and Venezuela at this time.

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas is a progressive regional bloc which puts people and social development before profit and free trade in Latin America. This seminar will examine the social, economic and political cooperation between ALBA countries and the benefits this has brought to poor people in the region. It will also discuss ALBA in a global and regional context looking at the EU and Obama administrations response to this challenge to US hegemony in the region.

Tickets are priced £5 and include entrance to the seminar and to the cocktail reception from 5pm where further informal debate and discussion with the speakers may continue.

To book places please call 020 8800 0155 to pay by credit card or email office@cuba-solidarity.org.uk as soon as possible as places are strictly limited and must be pre-booked.
