CSC Norfolk Public Meeting: 'The enigma that is Cuba' at the Reindeer Pub, Dereham Road, Norwich, NR2 4AY

Talk by Ken Cole which will include an overview of the Cuban Revolution as well as the emergence of grassroots democracy through Poder Popular and more recently the emergence of the ALBA agreement between Cuba and progressive governments in Bolivia, Venezuela and other countries across the region. Ken has held academic positions at London Metropolitan University as an Honorary Research fellow in the study of Cuba and at the University of East Anglia. He has taught courses at the Ministry of Finance and Prices in Havana where he led discussions on ALBA.For more info contact smelea@hotmail.co.uk
