Whats Really Happening in Cuba

Lots of fake and distorted news has been circulating in the media about what has been happening in Cuba. US and its allies have intensified their blockade during the pandemic making it near impossible for Cuba to access medical equipment and supplies.. Furthermore, the island's tourist industry has dried up.

In July, foreign media, including the BBC and the Guardian, published false images of anti-government riots in Cuba claiming popular insurrection. But are our media providing a genuine picture of what is going on in Cuba.

The 'What is Really Happening in Cuba' meeting will hear from Bob Oram, member of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign National Executive about the situation on the Caribbean island and how the Cuban government and its people are reacting.
