CSC North London & Sands Cinema Club present: The Brigadista

CSC North London's next CineCuba streaming from Sands Film Studios will be the 1978 feature film 'El Brigadista' by director Octavio Cortazar, which centres on the experiences of a young teacher during the Literacy Campaign of 1961. The trials and tribulations he experiences give a fascinating picture of this episode in the progress of the Revolution in the Cuban countryside.

Free entry, but donations are very welcome in person or online.

The film will be screened 'in person' at Sands cinema and streamed online for remote viewers.
