A comedy throwing light on the Cuban situation in a changing world in the last decade of the 20th century. By a series of coincidences, Sergio, a Cuban professor of Marxist philosophy and a radio ham, contacts and befriends Sergei, a Soviet cosmonaut stuck in the MIR space station. As the Soviet Union collapses Sergei has to wait until the new Russia can rescue him. Crazy situation? Well, we only need to look around us for a mad world! The film was chosen in 2017 as the Cuban offering for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars but was rejected on grounds which were never made clear.
