Trump Out of Venezuela and Gaza! No War on Cuba!

Advocacy Academy, 2 Beehive Place, Brixton, SW9 7QR.

Thursday, 12 March 2026, 6:30pm

Join South London Cuba Solidarity Campaign for an in-depth analysis of the latest Trump-era abuses, committed against the sovereign peoples of Venezuela and Gaza, and the criminal threats aimed at strangulating the Cuban economy and starving an innocent civilian population.

We will start the evening by inviting you to enjoy a vegan meal with Latin American flavour with us free of charge. This will be followed by a short film ‘From Gaza to Cuba’.

The U.S. has funded and armed Israel’s genocide in Gaza, including the destruction of schools and hospitals and now Trump’s ‘Board of Peace’ threatens entire displacement of Gazans. Meanwhile, Cuba (called a State Sponsor of Terrorism by the U.S.) is training hundreds of Palestinian doctors, many from Gaza, for free at its Latin American School of Medicine. One of them is Murid Abukhater, a Palestinian medical student from Gaza.

Speakers from the Cuban Embassy, Palestinian Youth Movement, Venezuela Solidarity Campaign and Caribbean Labour Solidarity.

In addition to exposing the abuses committed against Venezuela, Gaza, and Cuba, our speakers will emphasise the unwavering solidarity that unites these peoples and the nations of Latin America and the Caribbean in common struggle.

Trump’s worldview is laid bare: brute power over law, violence over accountability, propaganda over truth. This is how crimes are normalized and injustice entrenched. The peoples of the world must stand united and demand adherence to international law. Peace and sovereignty for all.
