Join Scottish Cuba Solidarity Campaign and Glasgow TUC for a screening of Comandante as part of the Glasgow May Day 2026 programme.

Comandante is an Oliver Stone documentary, providing a candid and direct portrait of Fidel Castro. Stone edited more than 30 hours of interviews, which took place over three days in 2002.

In this remarkable film, Fidel touches on issues such as his rise to power, the Cuban Missile Crisis and the US economic blockade of Cuba.
