George Bush in London
Hands Off Cuba
CSC will be organising a ‘warm’ welcome for George Bush when he arrives for his State visit in London as guest of Tony Blair.
Please pass on this information to as many people as possible.
CSC is organising for three protests against this visit. We have produced Hands Off Cuba banners, placards, T-shirts, anti-Bush leaflets and a fabulous 4 metre high Hands Off Cuba puppet of Bush. This is a real opportunity to make an impact and ensure that we get a clear message across to the US/UK Governments.
Wednesday 19th November, 10.30am, Jubilee Gardens, (next to London Eye)
As part of the Alternative State procession
Meet at the Hands Off Cuba Bush Puppet at 10.30am
Thursday 20th November, from 2pm, Malet Street to Trafalgar Square
With the National Stop Bush Demonstration
Meet at the CSC stall outside Goodge Street Tube between 2pm and 3pm
Also at CSC stall at Trafalgar Square from 4pm
Friday 21st November, 11am
US Embassy, Grosvenor Square. With Guantanamo Bay protest
