50 Years Since the Revolution
In the last fifty years, Cuba has made huge advances towards equality, particularly in areas of political participation and healthcare. It has also created a progressive legal framework which sets the standard for defending women’s rights. BBC Women's Hour's Jane Garvey is joined by Gilda Chacon Bravo from the CTC in Cuba to talk about how women have fared in that 50 years and what challenges they still have to meet.
