Watch the Empire's Pawns, a new film proving US backing for dissidents

The Empire's Pawns was aired on Cuban television on 26 February 2011. It tells the story of two Cuban state agents who infiltrated the so-called 'dissident' movement and exposed the extent of subversive efforts against the Cuban revolution financed from the US and Europe. For 10 years, Carlos Serpa Maceira was considered the spokesperson for the damas de blanco (Ladies in White) and an 'independent' journalist, while Moisés Rodriguez spent 20 years working undercover with counter revolutionary groups. The have only just revealed their true identities.
