Blockade Buster raffle drawn
Campaign News | Monday, 2 February 2015
Now for the other big news you have been waiting for all year- the winning numbers for the CSC Blockade Buster raffle!
First prize of two return flight tickets to Cuba was won by Ian Webster, a long standing member of CSC from Nottingham who was overjoyed at the news and said: “We brought the raffle tickets to help support Cuba and the work of the Solidarity Campaign and when we heard that we had won we were absolutely delighted, and we will hopefully be travelling to Cuba as soon as we can.”
Congratulations to all the lucky prize winners and thank you to everyone who bought tickets and helped sell them. A big thanks to the Ken Gill Memorial Fund who sponsored the raffle this year.
We raised a record £10,000 to help Cuba Solidarity carry on the campaign to defend Cuba’s sovereignty and end the blockade. Thank you.
