Campaign News | Friday, 15 May 2020

Cuba needs ventilators, testing kits and personal protective equipment now

Please donate to our appeal here today

The Cuba Solidarity Campaign has launched an emergency appeal to provide urgent medical aid to help Cuba during the coronavirus pandemic.

The United States blockade was already responsible for shortages in medical supplies, food, fuel and many other basic necessities on the island. The current global health crisis has exacerbated these shortages, making the Cuban people vulnerable as they find it harder to access vital medical equipment to treat the virus at home. The US is also tightening measures against the island, for example by preventing a shipment of ventilators and testing kits from being delivered in early April.

You can make a difference. Please donate to our appeal for Cuba today

All donations will go directly towards buying ventilators, testing kits and personal protective equipment to support Cuban health workers in the fight against COVID-19 on the island.

The Cuba Solidarity Campaign will collect donations and make regular transfers to enable critical supplies to be purchased as quickly as possible. The campaign will also pay for any international banking and transfer costs, so that all money donated goes directly to the Cuban Ministry of Health to buy emergency medical equipment.

Please make a donation and help Cuba fight coronoavirus at home and abroad today.
