Reservations are now open for the 2023 Young Trade Unionists’ May Day Brigade to Cuba.

The May Day brigade will feature a full programme of activities including; special invitations from the Cuban trade unions to take part in the May Day at Havana’s Revolution Square and the International Solidarity with Cuba Conference in Cuba’s Parliament (Convention Palace); meetings with Cuban trade unionists, women’s organisations and community groups; participating in solidarity agricultural work; visits to political and cultural sites; political seminars, workshops and film showings; and much more.

Almost 400 young trade unionists have participated in the May Day brigade over the last 14 years and many return increasingly active in their trade union.

The final brigade dates and prices will be confirmed shortly, but you can still sign up and reserve your places today to guarantee the early bird flight offers.

Final dates and early bird price:
Sunday 23 April – Sunday 7 May 2023, £1,949 per person*
The total costs includes London Gatwick – Havana return flights, 13 nights accommodation (dormitory style on the brigade camp), three meals a day, internal transport in Cuba, Cuban visa, full programme of activities and a preparation pack and pre-trip briefing.

Book today: A completed application form (available here) and £200 deposit per person is needed to secure each place. Full payment is due by 03/02/2023.
The brigade is aimed at 18 – 35 year old trade unionists but is open to all over 18 who wish to apply. You can find more details here.
