Join CSC on the Trump Not Welcome march

Campaign News | Monday, 18 August 2025

END THE US BLOCKADE. SAY NO TO TRUMP.
Why CSC is marching against Trump in September.

The Cuba Solidarity Campaign will be marching in London on 17 September alongside the Stop Trump coalition to oppose the state visit of Donald Trump.

Across both of his presidential terms Trump introduced inhumane policies designed to strangle Cuba’s economy, inflict immense suffering on the Cuban people, and undermine its sovereignty.

He intensified the US blockade to unprecedented levels — imposing over 240 new sanctions, tightened travel restrictions, cut off remittances, and cruelly placed Cuba on the so-called US "State Sponsors of Terrorism" (SSOT) list – a cynical and baseless move designed to exacerbate economic hardships and isolate the country internationally.

Despite these attacks Cuba stands strong – and it stands in solidarity with others, most notably the Palestinian people by supporting South Africa’s case against Israel at the ICJ and offering free medical scholarships to Palestinian students.

This matters. Because the same system and US president that has bankrolled the genocide in Gaza and sustains Israel’s apartheid regime, has intensified its blockade and sanctions against Cuba and seeks to crush its Revolution. By designating Cuba an SSOT Trump has caused unprecedented shortages for the Cuban people and laid bare his hypocrisy once again.

We’re marching to demand an end to the US blockade of Cuba, and for Cuba to be removed from the 'terror' list.

We call on all who believe in peace, justice, and self-determination to join us.

Say no to Trump’s visit. End the blockade on Cuba.

March with the Cuba Solidarity Campaign and make your voice heard.
