More than 100 MPs, trade union leaders and public figures join the Urgent Call for Peace and Sovereignty in Cuba and Latin America

SIGN THE CALL FOR PEACE AND SOVEREIGNTY
More than 2,000 people have added their names to the Urgent Call for Peace and Sovereignty launched by CSC following US attacks on Venezuela and threats made to Cuba in January.
Among those are over 100 MPs, peers, trade union leaders, academics, journalists, campaigners and cultural figures listed below.
Please add your name too, and send a clear and powerful message that threats, coercion and military intervention must be rejected, and that international law and sovereignty must be upheld.

The TUC and its General Secretary Paul Nowak join 25 British trade union general secretaries including newly elected UNISON leader Andrea Egan. Others including Dave Calfe (ASLEF), Laura Davison (NUJ), Eddie Dempsey (RMT), Maryam Eslamdoust (TSSA), Paul Fleming (Equity), Steve Gillan, (POA/TUC President), Jo Grady (UCU), Sharon Graham (Unite the Union), Fran Heathcote (PCS), Daniel Kebede (NEU), Gawain Little (GFTU), Gary Smith (GMB), Joanne Thomas (USDAW), Dave Ward (CWU), Sarah Woolley (BFAWU), Matt Wrack (NASUWT), and Steve Wright (FBU) also gave their support.
Campaigners and cultural figures who have signed the call include Lindsey German (Convenor, Stop the War Coalition), James Schneider (Progressive International), Yanis Varoufakis (DiEM25), and actors Andy de la Tour, Maxine Peake and Susan Wooldridge.
