British Filmmaker to show her latest film in Cuba

Martha Fiennes, sister of Ralph to visit Havana
Havana, Apr 5 (Prensa Latina) British filmmaker Martha Fiennes, sister of actors Ralph and Joseph Fiennes will be in Cuba for the premiere of her film Chromophobia (2005), the British Council reported Thursday.
The filmmaker who was first known in the island by her opera prima Oneguin (1999), based in the Russian autor Alexander Pushkin's work, will travel to Havana with her husband, also film director and photo specialist George Tiffin.
During their stay, both artists will take part in workshops with the students at the International Cinema School of the Three Worlds in San Antonio de los Banos, city south of the Cuban capital.
Chromophobia, meaning color phobia, was filmed in 2005 and presented by Fiennes at the Cannes Film Festival that same year.
Leading roles of the film are played by Ralph Fiennes, Ben Caplin, Kristin Scott Thomas and Penélope Cruz
The feature film tells of the dilemma faced by a rich London family as a consequence of sacrificing traditional values like honesty, loyalty and friendship in favor of ethics based on success and celebrity.
On February 2006, Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love) , travelled to Cuba to participate in the Habano Festival.
In that same year but in December, Ralph Fiennes (Schindler's List), (The English Patient) visited Havana to take part in the 28th Festival of New Latin American Cinema.
