CSC relocates to Unite offices
Campaign News | Tuesday, 1 April 2008
After nearly 20 years based at the Red Rose Club on Seven Sisters Road in North London, the Cuba Solidarity Campaign moved offices in April.
The new office is based at the London Region headquarters of Unite, Britain’s largest union, very close to Manor House tube station on the Piccadilly line.
"It was a sad moment when we left but our new offices are extremely welcoming,” said CSC Director Rob Miller.
“We are extremely grateful to Unite regional Secretary Steve Hart and all his team for helping us with this relocation. It goes to show once again the depth of solidarity the UK Trade Unions have for Cuba and the recognition of the work of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign."
Steve Hart, London Regional Secretary said: "Unite is more than happy to extend ongoing solidarity and support to the Cuba Solidarity Campaign by making this office space available. CSC taking space with us makes more concrete our solidarity with progressive Latin Americans in Latin America, just as we have been able to show solidarity with Latin Americans in London as we are also home to the Latin American Workers' Association."
