Cuban union's statement on Palestine

The Workers’ Central Union of Cuba, on behalf of its workers, states its support to the heroic Palestinian people in their fair request at the United Nations to recognise a Palestinian independent and sovereign State.
The recognition of the fight carried out by the Palestinian people in order to achieve their independence as an independent state is act of “historical justice” that people and governments around the world should recognise.
We are calling on all trade union organisations around the world, and governments belonging to the UN, to support and recognise the fair Palestinian cause according to the International Right.
