Over 60 Cuba Solidarity Campaigners attend May Day celebrations in Havana

Young Trade Unionists from 7 UK unions
Twenty Young Trade Unionists representing 6 national UK Trade Unions joined the crowds in Revolution Square in Central Havana to celebrate International Workers day and show solidarity with the people of Cuba. Delegates came from Unite, Unison, NAPO, CWU, RMT and UCATT.
They were joined by 18 brave cyclists from the Cuba Solidarity Campaign’s ‘’Cycle Cuba Challenge’ who have celebrated their own triumph of finishing a 315 Kilometre ride through the Cuban countryside. The cyclists wee raising funds for the ongoing work of the Music Fund for Cuba.
There were also a large number of delegates on specialist Trade Union Study tours and a delegation made up of UK and American trade unionists in support of the Miami Five.
