Cuba to present report on the blockade to UN

The economic, commercial and financial blockade by the US Government against Cuba continues and intensifies despite the growing and strong demand by the international community, in particular by the United Nations General Assembly, for its lifting.
On Thursday, 20 September, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba will present Cuba’s Report on United Nations General Assembly resolution 66/6 entitled: Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba.
This presentation will be made at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, in Havana, via a live teleconference in connection with the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations. The national press and the foreign press present in Cuba, as well as the press corps accredited in New York and to the United Nations will participate in the presentation from the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the UN. Both the teleconference and the presentation of the Report will be broadcast over the Internet by Justin TV.
At the same time, updated information will be available online and through live interaction on the matter, since the presentation of the Report on 20 September 2012 until the adoption of the resolution condemning the Blockade at the United Nations General Assembly.
