New tour for 2014
CSC plans to organise a delegation to participate in Havana’s 7th International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) in May 2014. The 8 day delegation will build on links established between Cuba’s LGBT community, the Centre for Sexual Education (CENESEX), led by Mariela Castro, and LGBT activists in Britain.
The delegation have the opportunity to meet with CENESEX, LGBT activists, health promoters and others working against homophobia in the country and participate in some of the more than fifty workshops, lectures, panel sessions, film shows, and cultural and community initiatives taking place during the IDAHO celebrations.
The land only price, including hotels, transport, guide, translator, full programme of professional and cultural visits, and participation in IDAHO activities will be from £600 tbc. Dates, likely to run from Monday through to Tuesday in mid May, will be confirmed shortly, as soon as CENESEX announces details of their 2014 IDAHO programme.
If you are interested in participating, please contact the CSC office on 020 8800 0155 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest. Further information and travel packages will updated here shortly.
