CSC is delighted to welcome Elizabeth Ribalta Rubiera back to Britain in June for a tour of CSC local groups and to participate in the CSC Annual General Meeting.
Liz is the Northern European Officer for the Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos (ICAP, or the Cuban Friendship Institute), and last visited Britain for a local groups tour in June 2022.
She has a wealth of experience of international relations, having worked at ICAP since 2014. Her roles include United States group coordinator in the North America division, where she led international volunteer work brigades and worked with the Pastors for Peace Caravan which brings material aid and delegations from the US each year. She also worked in the ICAP department that looks after foreign students, including working directly with young students studying at the Latin American School of Medicine.
