Bohemians and Massive Attack launch new jersey to support Cuba Vive Appeal

The Bohemians x Massive Attack jersey
Bohemian Football Club, one of Ireland’s most historic football clubs, has teamed up with Bristol trip-hop legends Massive Attack to launch a special new jersey raising funds for the Cuba Solidarity Campaign’s Cuba Vive Appeal.
The jersey is a one-off collaboration between the fan-owned Dublin club and Massive Attack, with a share of profits going to Cuba Vive Appeal. The design draws on Cuba’s revolutionary history and the long-standing connections between Ireland and Cuba, including the Irish ancestry of Che Guevara.
The initiative is the latest effort by Bohemians to use football shirts as a vehicle for solidarity and fundraising. In recent years, Bohs have collaborated with artists including Fontaines D.C., Oasis and Kneecap on shirts, and since 2020 its innovative jersey collaborations have helped raise more than €1 million for charitable causes. The 2025 Fontaines D.C. third shirt alone raised €199,000 for Medical Aid for Palestinians.
Daniel Lambert, Chief Commercial Officer at Bohemian FC and manager of the band Kneecap, visited Cuba in March as part of the Nuestra América Convoy. He said the partnership reflected shared values between the club and Massive Attack.
"The illegal blockade of the island has now run for over 60 years, it is worsening, and it is badly affecting the Cuban medical system. That we can work with Massive Attack to highlight this grave injustice and also raise funds to save lives on the island is important to us, and something we are grateful for.”
Massive Attack said the collaboration continued “the tradition of musicians who’ve collaborated with Bohemian FC to support a fan-owned football club, at the same time drawing attention to important social or political issues.”
“Our nominated charities arrange urgent shipments of medical aid to Cuba, where vital hospital supplies are threatened by the Trump administration’s blockade of the island, an illegal act of collective punishment of the Cuban people,” the group said.
Cuba Vive has now delivered fourteen containers of aid worth more than £2.5 million to Cuba. Shipments have included blood transfusion sets, paediatric catheters, tracheostomy and intubation equipment, syringes, needles and specialist infusion pumps for Cuba’s main cancer hospital. Further consignments carrying medical aid, solar-powered refrigeration and essential food are also planned.
CSC’s Natasha Hickman said: “The US blockade is driving Cuba’s deepest humanitarian crisis in decades, and the need for medical aid has never been greater. With infant mortality having doubled in recent years due to worsening shortages of medical supplies and fuel, Cuba Vive is helping to save lives by delivering vital aid to hospitals across the island.”
“Together, we can break the US blockade and help save lives,” she added.
